The lifting tackle is for a horizontal cover having a spreader with which a crane engages at a central point, and means to counteract any tilting of the cover in relation to the horizontal. The supporting bolt by which the crane engages with the spreader is adjustable in the horizontal plane in relation to the spreader by means of two eccentrics coupled together. These can comprises a first rotary ring with vertical axix, in which there is a second eccentric ring, also with a vertical axis, the engagement point of the bolt being situated eccentrically in the second ring.
