"ARSENIC REMOVAL FROM ELECTROLYTES"ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA method is provided for removing arsenic from arsenicand copper containing electrolytes by electrolysis while mini-mizing the formation of arsine gas, through the application ofa periodically reversed or interrupted current during suchelectrolysis. The method is particularly suitable for thepurification of copper refinery electrolyte.
