The cylindrical cage (20) has openings, through which the substance to be treated can be moved in the axial and the radial direction. The cage (20) has a support frame (11). A piston rod (13) of a fluid cylinder (14) can be displaced into contact with the bolts (12) in order to stop the rotation of the cage (20) at intervals.
