Sharpening fixture for chopping wheel blades - uses grinding disc fed against one blade against spring force

The cutting blades of the chopping wheel are mounted around the circumference of the wheel. The sharpening fixture incorporates a grinding disc (14) of a dia. approximately equal to the cutting length of a cutter blade. The grinding disc is mounted with ball bearings (15, 15b) on a shaft (11). The shaft can be fed in against the blade to be sharpened by hand. The shaft is moved axially against the force of a spring. The grinding wheel can only rotate about the shaft by a limited angle. A stop to prevent full rotation, is mounted on the hub.
