The externally ventilated disc for disc brakes used for industrial applications involves a one-part brake disc which is either of one-piece structure with the hub or is screwed to it. On both sides of the disc a radially divisable ventilating device is fitted. The device inner dia, formed by the radially running fillets of the cooling air channels is centered on the hub, and the outer dia. is smaller than the brake disc dia. by the extent of the brake caliper dimension. The guide plates on both sides are angled away to the brake disc in their outer diameter area, and are axially and radially attached to the brake disc by bolts. The fillets of the cooling air channels in the radial dividing plane are formed as profiles with equal axial expansion to that of the other fillets incorporated.
