Load balancing of drive consisting of two groups - uses balancing motors, coupled through planetary gears to superposition units and is esp. for mining machines

Each driving group has an asynchronous electric motor coupled to an output shaft through a hydrostatic displacement system. The shaft together with shafts of other driving groups, possibly rotating at different speeds, drive a mining machine. Locad differences at the output shafts are balanced out by hydraulic coupling between individual hydrostatic displacement systems. Each driving group (1, 2) has balancing motors (6) coupled through planetary gears (4) with superposition units (5). The motors (6) are asynchronous motors with soft working characteristics.
