Coating temp. control test unit - compares temp. measured at object in furnace and test objects in laboratory furnace

The temp. control is for paints or similar coatings in a laboratory oven furnace, by simulating conditions, effects, and results as given during the processing of these in continuous production furnaces. The time/object temp. curves measured in the continuous furnace directly at the object, is modulated to a tolerance of +/- 2 degrees C in the laboratory furnace using thin coated test plates of low heat capacity, and compared with the temp. at the test object. The data ascertained in the continuous furnace for amounts of feed- and outer air, flow speed and - direction, are recorded and together with the time/temp. control forms a common programme.
