In a building for a natural gas compressor station, the natural gas is cooled before compression by an air-cooled absorption-type refrigerating plant. The side walls of the building structure consist of a framework of struts, carrying on the outside all air-cooled units and on the inside an airtight cover. This creates the necessary ducts for the cooling air flow to outlets in the roof. The building, for a natural gas compressor or station, has a min. of space requirement and a min. of capital cost for the complete plant.
