The three support webs of the frame which are provided at their outer ends with height adjustable support feet are connected together by a centre unit (11) which has at least one recess in which can be inserted a central fourth support foot (22) and/or an upper support plate (24). The central upper plate or additional foot is pref. displaceable in the centre part and provides a central support for the shower tray so that any type or shape of tray can now be fitted on the one type of support frame merely by adjusting the relevant feet. It is preferred if the (1) centre part (11) has a full-length central vertical threaded bore (19) to take the threaded support bolt (20) of the extra support foot and/or support plate.
