The laser beam is directed on the component surface, and its reflected rays are processed in an optical evaluating device. Laser rays reflected from the illuminated component (10) surface at two different loads, illumine a film (15) in a defocussed image plane (14) through an aperture diaphragm (12) and a camera objective (13). The developed and fixed film negative (15) is subjected to spatial frequency filtering for evaluation observation. The film material used is typically an emulsion suitable for developing Holographic images.
