The printing station with a bottom printing press is fitted to a machine which simultaneously fills and closes several beaker shaped containers made from paper, board or plastic material. The press consists of several stamps (10) fitted with printing type (10a) and positioned in a row. Each stamp has an associated ink pad (14) is located on a sliding carriage (8) which is movable sideways from the support column. The movement of the stamp is produced through a rod (12) which connects the stamps and which may be coupled to a drive unit when in the working position.
