Foliage covering for walls and facades - uses plastics mats covered with living plants with reinforcing mesh

Facades and walls are covered with living plastics plates or mats are used which themselves are covered with living plants (3). In the plastics, there is a retaining mesh of strong plastics fibres. The plate or most surfaces have different shapes such as bulges, cubes etc. These surface deformations have a water-impermeable layer on the base, so as to trap water in the porous plastics to water the plants. Large nails or screws are used to fasten the layer of plastics foam onto the masonry of the wall.
