Radioactive gas cloud containment - by foam generators encasing and covering escaping gas by foam bubbles

The spread of radioactive gas clouds, caused by the failure of a nuclear reactor, or of other toxic gases, can be prevented by locating foam generators nearby, so that the gases can be covered, encased or included in the bubbles of the foam. The saves the compulsory evacuation of inhabited areas and is an inexpensive way of insuring against such catastrophes.
