The process for sealing continuous fissures in reinforced concrete structures, with initially sloping surface, involves application of a substance which can be painted on. Cleaning is effected by spraying water under high pressure, at above 100 degrees C, vertically in a short jet, the jet being pushed vertically across the surface and fissure parallel to the surface. Adjoining flank, impregnation is carried out by flooding with a dissolved organic silicon cpd. The substance formed by fluid mixt. fo this cpd. with a long-chain agent combining with the silicon components is then painted on. The covers wider gaps, enabling leaf cracks to be effectively sealed.
