The propeller (8) is driven by the shaft of an electric motor fitted in the housing which is to be set down on the upper edge of the mixing bowl which is mounted directly on or only a slight distance away from the lower side of the base (7) of the motor housing (6). The propeller which is only slightly smaller than the diameter of the base (7) pref. comprises a flywheel consisting of a plate (8a) and vanes (8b) provided thereon. The propeller thus does not contact the mixture since it is set above the fluid level. However the air current produced by the propeller serves to mix the contents evenly with no danger of the mixture clogging the propeller.
