Reinforcing elements for earthwork and civil engineering constructions comprise very strong, corrosion-protected or -resistant profiles on which =1 rod-shaped or flat cross-pieces are fastened or which have spiral or cam shape. The profiles are made of epoxy, polyurethane of isocyanate resins, pref. reinforced with undirectionally aligned glass- or carbon-fibres or some other fibrous mixt. Improved anti-corrosion characteristics and earthwork: reinforcement friction ratio is obtd.
