Second part weight group in counterweight system - is lifted through limited distance relative to first group when counterweight at lowest point

The counterweight system has a vertically movable weight connected to a load which has to move between a lower and an upper end position. It involves several separate part weights located on a drive connected to the load. Each part weight has its own stop device which secures the weight at a predetermined height in its downwards movement and separates it from the drive. Two groups of part weights are provided as is also a lifting mechanism by means of which the part weights of the second group (421-426) are liftable through a restricted area as opposed to those of the first group, (416, 417, 419) and this in the deepest position of the counterweight.
