Alternately one of the leading sides (9 or 30) of the valve body (10) is loaded with the pressure of the fuel supply (1) and the other side is simultaneously depressurized (30 or 9) via the regulating valve (5). A hydraulically-controlled relay valve (3) controls the pressure application and release in relation to the regulating valve. The two and three way relay valve (3) is located in a line (2, 14) between the fuel feed (1) and fuel return (15) and connected to the pressure chamber (8) under the valve body. The relay valve has a sphere as a sealing element.
