Testing tightness of flat bottomed oil storage tank - using measurement pick=up with one chamber filled with tank fluid and another with gas

The sealing testing device is for large capacity tanks filled with liq. mineral oil products. The device has a measurement tube with two chambers operating a measurement pick-up. One chamber is filled with the tank fluid and has a gas space. The second chamber communicates with the gas space in the tank above the fluid. A display device with a measurement device is connected by pipes with the second chamber and the gas space in the first chamber. A valve is pref. provided at the bottom of the measuring tube.
