The switch is used for delayed tripping, such as priming of e.g. an explosive charge. It has a driving spring, a main shaft driving a gear, an escapement coupled through a gear transmissioin, and two plates supporting these components. A gear (8) carrying sleeve (9) is rotatably mounted in a bearing hole in one of the plates (2). Its front section serving as the spring heart-shaped, member projects outwards. The main shaft (10) is inserted into the sleeve (9) through a corresponding hole in the other plate, and fastened there. Its projecting end serves for winding the clockwork, and as operating shaft for the device to be tripped.
