Phase terminal to overhead HV line mounting system - uses elevated platform and rod carrying roller to raise and connect earthing cable to HV line

The terminal-mounting system consists of an elevated platform and a mechanism for fixing a phase terminal to an overhead high-voltage conductor by using a rod to engage tthe conductor. The rod has a roller arrangement at its upper end over which a cable passes, with the aid of which an earthing conductor is raised up to the hv line. The phase terminal (14-17) is fixed to the upper end of the earthing cable (26) and is raised with it. The lifting platform (13) is moved along the rod (2) by another cable (11).
