The travel truck is for hoists working up building faces and mounted on flat roofs with parapets. It has three or more bogies, one or more of which are driven. The truck (3) has three or four bogies (6, 7) one of these (6) or two one behind the other (7), are situated on the side furthest from the parapet (2). There are two pivoting bogies (4, 5) one behind the other, on one side nearest the parapet, and equipped with automatic steering mechanism (8). One or both of them can be driven.
