Type fount securing device - has spring clamping one fount end tangentially in relation to drum

The device secures type founts on the drum of a title-setting machine. It has a spring(3) clamping one end of the fount(6) tangentially in relation to the drum(1). The spring can also be arranged to press the fount against the drum in the radial direction, and the fount end can be pressed onto the spring, being also detachable from the drum from outside, typically by simple finger pressure. The amt. of spring movement can be such as to counteract discrepancies in fount length.
