The ball valve has a housing with ball connected to actuating handle. This ball has a bore for fluid flow. The ball has a bore for fluid flow. The ball and its seat are in close contact preventing entry of leakage between these components. The ball seat consists of three parts 14, 15, 16, fully enclosing the ball. Disc springs (18) ensure perfect contact between the ball and the seat with constant pressure. A circumferential groove is provided in the seat so that the sealing is ensured only below this groove. The three seat parts are made of PTFE.
