Boiler chimney soot formation prevention system - has earthed stainless steel strips mounted above filter in flue gas outlet

The system of preventing the flue gas outlet (1) for a boiler from being clogged with soot uses an electric filter (2) with a chain of earthed members (3) at the top. The gases are sucked upwards towards the chimney (5) by an extraction fan (4) at the top, above the filter. These earthed members are attached to a chain of electrically conductive strips connected to the flue gas channel sides. The strips can be of stainless steel, spaced apart by between 10 and 40 cm.
