The angular position of the drive motor shaft is established and fed back to an amplifier which feeds signals to a speed of rotation controller and adjusting member for the workpiece drive motor. A circuit compensates positional errors which are proportional to speed. An electronic programme store is provided. The input of the speed of rotation regulator is connected to the output of a summation circuit. The summation circuit is connected with its first input to the required value generator of the speed control circuit and with its second input to the electronic programme store.
