Dryer for household washing - uses high-frequency microwaves for rapid and efficient drying

A drying cabinet for textiles, esp. household washing, uses microwaves or high frequency electromagnetic waves of frequency 2000-3000 MHz to evaporate the moisture in the goods, and a circulating current of heated air to remove the vapour. The cabinet may have a condenser through which the exhaust gas is passed to extract =90% of the moisture, almost returning the air to ambient conditions before it is exhausted to the atmosphere. The heat is produced directly within the cabinet and not conveyed there by hot air after external heating. Drying is therefore more efficient, quicker and more effective, and the working environment is not disrupted by the discharge of hot, moist exhaust air.
