Local flow velocity is measured in a liq. filled vessel with a stirrer. The vessel (1) contains a liq. electrolyte (2), and the probe consists of an anode connected by an insulating plate with a liq. permeable cathode. A thermocouple for temp. measurement is mounted on the anode. A voltage source (6) is connected to the anode and cathode, and a supply unit (7) with the thermocouple.
