The appts. (100) is used for a technological process such as cement making. The process produces an output material flow from input flows of materials of variable, or randomly fluctuating quality. Samples are taken from the material output flow and analysed, and their flow (kg/hour, m3/hour) is changed accordingly, so that output material flow parameters meet the specified requirements, or deviate from them only slightly. The best approximation of the output flow material is derived from the parameters of the input flow materials at the instant of their availability, and at instants preceding it. This approximation is obtained with a delay due to the process time lag. Input material flows are adjusted accordingly.
