A process for assembling a front glass 1 to a reflector 7 of metal or plastics material in which the reflector 7 is peripherally shaped as at 13, 15, or on formed with projecting portions or teats, to provide a housing 18 for receiving a burr 6 which is formed at the edge of the front glass during moulding in a ring-type mould. The assembly process, the reflector and the reflector and front glass assembly can be used for a headlight for a motor vehicle or the like or for a light for industrial or domestic use. IMAGE
