The hopper fits on a support plate on horizontal beams. The underside has a circular opening and an O ring seal. A sliding trap door closes this opening and moves on guides in a tubular frame. The trap door is operated by a rack and pinion gear connected to a coupling rod by a spring joined to the trap door. At the end of the closing stroke, sealing is ensured by a bevel on the leading edge of the trap door riding up a roller. Simultaneously a rear cam rides up a rear roller. A distributor chute is mounted on a trunnion bearing and swivelled by a motor turning a crown wheel and pinion.
