The wall mounting assembly, for mounting electrical equipment, (e.g. an electric clock), has a shallow housing (1) screwed to the wall and containing the electrical connector terminal (3) for the equipment. The top front edge of the housing is extended upwards into a ridge (5) that engages behind an overhanging lip (12) of a bar (6) fixed to the rear of the equipment. The supply leads (4) pass through a hole in the housing's lower wall to the terminal block, and from the terminal block through holes (8) in the ridge and bar to the equipment.
