The circuit is used to correct for temperature effects in phase displacement ferrite rods normally used un UHF waveguides. The design is intended to obviate the need for ventilation to maintain a constant temperature. Compensation is obtained by use of a temperature sensor (1) mounted between th waveguide wall and the extenal exciting coil associated with the ferrite. The analogue output from the sensor feeds an analogue/digital convertor (2). This produces a data stream corresponding to the temperature during set intervals to a decoder (3). This data together with that (B1, Bb) derived from the phase shifting circuit is processed and fed to a passive memory (4). Coil (7) correction current is then obtained from a power amplifier (6) controlled from the computing arrangement via a digital/analogue converter (5).
