Numerical controlled machine tool programme correction system - uses teletype machine with transmitter receiver which transfers data when keys on keyboard are pressed

The machine tool programme is recorded as a series of blocks on a tape which is read block by block a reader which feeds the numerical control unit. The system has a teletype machine which has printing means and a data input keyboard. The system uses a block memory and a transmitter receiver. The transmitter receiver is used to transfer when a first key is pressed, recorded signals from the block memory to the teletype machine printer. Switching means at the numerical control inputs and at the memory block input direct either tape read block signals or signal from the keyboard through the transmitter receiver when a second key is in a first position or a second position respectively.
