The washing equipment is particularly for use in hospitals, having an inlet, controlled by a tap, for water under pressure. Between tap (11) and outlet (15) is a vacuum ejector (16) drawing an additive from a reservoir (17), typically a disinfectant, and which is mixed with the water. The ejector can comprise a venture passage, upstream of which is a conical water nozzle, removalby mounted, and aimed at the venturi. There may also be a non-return valve in the pipe from the reservoir, so that the additive can only flow from the latter towards the ejector.
