Keyboard for french language typewriter - has left hand for vowels and right hand for consonants with most frequent letters on third row of four
The keyboard is for a franch language typewriter and has the vowels operated by the left hand and consonants by the right. The most frequently used are on the third row. The left to right arrangement is U, I, E, A, O, struck by the left hand; U by little finger, A and O by the index. For the right hand, these are L, T, R, S, N, B, with L and T operated by the index and N and B by the little finger. Less frequently characters are on the second row and the least frequent on the first and the bottom. The full stop and comma have separate keys for left and right hand thumbs respectively.
