Piezoelectric oscillator with crystal resonator - has mechanical device controlling variable capacitor, to compensate frequency drift due to acceleration

The resonator is inserted in a loop which includes a variable tuning capacitance. The variable tuning capacitance may contain one variable capacitor or more than one variable capacitor. The oscillator has a mechanical device which responds to an acceleration applied to the oscillator. It so controls the variable capacitor (10, C3), that the frequency change so produced is equal and opposite to frequency change caused by acceleration application to the resonator.
