Agricultural granular fertiliser distributor - has wide mouthed spreaders in rear view, with narrow slot at bottom in side view

The agricultural granular material spreader has distributors with hoppers discharging into pipes on the ferrule of each distributor. The distributor has large front and rear sheets of triangular form with the apex at the top. The front and rear sheets are joined by elongated triangular sides whose apex is at the bottom. This leaves a narrow discharge slot. Inverted V-shaped deflectors are fitted in the distributor to the rear wall extending symmetrically about a line joining the axis of the ferrule to the middle of the outlet. The deflectors are perforated for the granules to fall through and successive deflectors have different included angles.
