The translating system consists of a moulded housing (1) which encloses film spools (2) on whose sides are peripheral teeth. Movement of the spools is made manually or electricall, forwards or backeards by means of the peripheral teeth. On the side of the housing are control buttons. The buttons control the movement of the spools and coupling of the spools in pairs. On the front of the housing are windows fitted with enlarging lenses through which letters may be seen. The windows are illuminated from a battery.
