Machine tool for tubular parts - has shaped jaws mounted side by side on swan neck supports and clamped by dual power cylinders

The machine is used for machining tubular parts and comprises a chassis (1) with a worktable (2) at a suitable height. At one end are two swan neck supports (5, 6), each carrying a power cylinder (7, 8). The rod (9, 10) of each cylinder projects downwards and has a vise jaw (11, 12), each shaped to suit the top profile of the part being held. The jaws clamp onto fixed vise jaws (13, 14), these being shaped to suit the lower profile of the part. The machining unit (15) is at the other end of the worktable, the controls being at the front (3, 4).
