The crane consists of a tubular jib (3) fitted at an angle to the horizontal and having a vertical tubular fitting (55). The tube is supported on a pillar (43) which forms part of the base structure (2). The base is mounted onto rails (7, 10) with two wheels along the pillar side and a single steadying wheel on the opposite rail. Claws (32, 33) prevent an overloaded jib from toppling over.
