High tenacity viscose cord is used for the binding of packages contg. paper for recovery, or dried sheets of paper pulp. The cord is intended to replace iron or steel wires normally used for such packaging. Whereas the wires must be removed and discarded when the packages are required for use, the viscose cord is submitted to the same processing as the package, and disintegrates with it, being entirely constituted of vegetable matter. In an example, the yarn is 1840 D/Tex, and the cord is comprised of 6-90 such yarns.
