The straw ejector is for a combined harvester with a chooper which cuts the straw which is then conveyed through distributor orifice using an air flow. At its section lying below and outside the working area of the cutting mechanism (2), the distributor orifice (3) has an inlet for an air low. The inlet is connected with the bottom of the orifice (3). The air flow is generated by a blower (10), driven by the harvester. A channel (11) for the air flow is passed from the blower (10) below the cutting mechanism (2) and ends in the bottom section of the distributor orifice (3).
