The key to a lock, for example of a box, is incorporated with an ancient Oriental puzzle game, so that the box can only be opened by solving the puzzle. The lock has an elongated ring (2). Bars and rings (3) fixed to the lid of the box (4) hold the key. Other rings and bars (3) can be added to increase the difficulty of the game. The key holding bar can be released from inside the box, in order to re-lock the key, without having to re-do the game in reverse order. A locking system (5) re-locks the key.
