Modular building system using precast concrete wall units - has plan grid for joints and wall intersections including different section node units

The building system uses a modular plan grid to locate the vertical inter panel joints and wall intersections. Special units are deployed at wall intersections, having uniform horizontal sections of an X, Y, T or L shaped. Wall intersection angles other than right angles are catered for, the X or Y sectioned units having diophantic angles, i.e. derived from right angled triangles of which the ratio of the sides can be expressed in whole numbers e.g. 3:4:5 etc. A standard erection tolerance may be built into each vertical joint, always being accommodated at one end only of a panel, and one tolerance increment only being accommodated at any joint.
