Porogenic compsn. based on dinitrosopentamethylenetetramine (I) as active ingredient is improved as regards storage stability (i.e. no generation of odour) by addition of 0.05-0.4 wt.% melamine. Used as blowing agent for natural and synthetic rubbers. Pref. the compsn. also contains other known materials: alkaline inorganic fillers, silica, polyesters and paraffin oils. Particle size of the melamine is 150 mu.
