The equipment gives controlled and intermittent delivery of wine, e.g. in a bar. It comprises a sealed pressurised vessel (10) containing wine (30) and into which an immersion tube (14) is inserted, this being connected to an external pipe (16) leading to a dispensing tap (18). ]The vessel also has a sealed union (22), connecting it to a source of inert gas (26) under pressure, typically nitrogen. The gas can be accommodated in one or more bottles and delivered to the vessel via a pressure regulator. The dispensing pipe end can be masked by a false barrel., from which the tap extends.
