The pig passed through a pipe consists of a front cylinder (1) with a flexible outer membrane. The cylinder is inflated agains the walls of the pipe by an internal supply of compressed air. The cylinder has a hollow rod (2) which pastes through a second cylinder also with an outer flexible membrane and capable of being inflated against the wall of the pipe. The air is admitted through and end connection to a sliding valve (4) operating as the cylinders are inflated.
