Energy generator - utilising disintegration of neutrons by laser ray in nucleus of target, with absorption of heat produced by e.g. pure hydrogen

Energy generator utilises the disintegration of the neutrons contd. in the nuclei of a solid or liq. target. The disintegration is induced by a laser ray. The high energy photons produced by the disintegration are pref. absorbed in a quantity of pure hydrogen under press., the heat of the hydrogen being transferred in an exchanger which uses it e.g. to produce steam, or the flux of high energy photons is utilised directly. Problems associated with existing sources of energy are avoided. These include the facts that the quantities of fossil fuels available are limited and that harmful wastes are produced from the use of radioactive substances; and pollution of the atmos. and of natural waters.
