PURPOSE:To reduce current leakage between the unit cells by forming the in and out passages for the electrolyte between the unit cells and the in and out passages for the electrolyte of the layer-built battery connected to the passages between the unit cells in a single structure formed of a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:A unit cell consists of a frame 1, a common inlet 6 and a common outlet 7 for electrolyte, both being cut in on the frame 1, a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 3 fixed to the frame 1. The unit calls are assembled in layers with a spacer 5 between the adjacent unit cells and fixed by a resin or a tape on both side faces. The unit assembly is placed in a mold having a block for forming a common inlet 6, a pin for forming an inlet 9 for each unit cell, and a block for forming an inlet 11 connected to a electrolyte filling inlet 13, then molded using a thermosetting resin thus forming an outlet 10 for the unit cell, common outlet 7, an outlet 12 connected with an outlet 14.
